Camp Bow Wow Cranberry is looking for a motivated, hard-working, and most importantly DOG LOVING Camp Counselor!
Camp Counselor Duties include:
- Supervising up to 25 dogs in an open play setting.
- Monitoring Play Yard interactions between pups to ensure safety.
- Cleaning dog messes in and outside of the play yard, keeping the play yard clean, and water buckets fresh.
- Cleaning - Yard cleaning, Cabin cleaning, Daily Sanitation, maintaining fresh water buckets and mop buckets.
- Feeding & administering medication.
- Dog Bathing, Ear Cleanings, Teeth & Nail Trims.
- Being personable with our dogs AND pup parents to ensure complete satisfaction & return visits.
Dog experience is a plus, not a must.
We have shifts starting as early as 6:30 am and going until 7:30pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, we're able to be flexible between those hours for those working another position, or looking for supplemental income.
Qualifications:
- Must LOVE dogs and be able to handle loud noises, and dog messes (pee, poop and vomit are all less luxurious, but mandatory parts of the position).
- Physically active, Counselors will be on their feet most of the day interacting with our pups and moving around. Counselors are expected to be able to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Reliable Transportation:
